Blogtober - Day Nineteen

Just a short post today as I seem to have run out of time and energy to write about the Museum in Derby that we visited after viewing Gaia (see my last post).  I will write about the Museum of Making in a later post.

Yesterday morning, I had my hair trimmed and tidied up and afterwards we took a short walk in the glorious sunshine.

It was like Autumn and Summer combined.  Leaves crunching on the ground and the heat of the sun on our backs making coats redundant.  They were back on today though as it is much colder and quite windy.

  1. Lovely parkland and as your trees are turning, ours have beautiful new green growth. Breathe, relax......take care & hugs.

  3. Lovely. I hope your hairdo turned out better than mine, I feel I should go out with a hat, it's so short. 😊

    1. Oh dear, it doesn't help when folks say it will soon grow again, bit too hot for hats yet as well. I wear my hair in a chin length bob and just have it trimmed every so often to keep it like that as it can get a bit unruly if it reaches my shoulders:)

  4. A lovely walk Rosie. I haven't been to the hairdressers in years as my husband and last time my son cuts it! I used to hate going as they used to give you a style you didn't want that needed blow drying or straightening!!!! Admittedly my hair style not brilliant but Idon't have to faff around with it! :)

    1. I wish I didn't have to go to the hairdresser but if my hair gets too long it takes on a life of its own so I have a bob which is anything from chin to shoulder length. I'm lucky with Rachel as she knows just what I want. I hated hairdressers as a child as one my Mum took me too held me down over a sink and just chopped at my hair, gave me a phobia for ages:) Paul cut my hair during lock down and a couple of people said he'd made a good job of it:)
