Enjoying the sights, colours and sometimes the tastes of September
Rose hips
Elderberries
Apples
Rowan Berries
Blackberries
The plums on the tree in our garden are beginning to ripen now
Lovely to eat as they are but I've also made an apple and plum crumble for tea or dinner depending on which part of the country you come from.
Happy Monday.

Lovely photos, it's definitely that time of year again. I do love our seasons. Have a good week :-)
ReplyDeleteJust caught up with your posts. Always love to see where you've been. Also loved the innovative ways places are attracting visitors. The birsd are great, we did once see a real Golden oheasant in Norfolk. It was huge. Plus that cafe on top of the scaffolding is so cool.
ReplyDeleteLovely! My plums ripened weeks ago and I didn't get to eat one as they fell off or over ripened on the tree! I bet your crumble will be delicious! x
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, we picked Blackberries and made a crumble at the weekend!x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of berries. I never realised that elderberries were purple. How I miss wild blackberries. I've never found any growing wild here and the cultivated ones are tasteless. How I long for an apple and blackberry crumble....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy autumn's rich bounty Rosie.

ReplyDeleteTime for jam making methinks.
ReplyDeleteLovely set of photos Rosie. I love all the berries and fruits of Autumn both edible and otherwise. They are such wonderful colours.
