A few photos from this morning's walk at Trentham Gardens. Cold in the air and crunchy underfoot. Visible breath from both walkers and dogs. Definitely a warm hat, scarf and gloves day. Also a hot chocolate day at the cafe halfway around the lake. Fingers warmed around the cup before we moved on.
Stay warm and have a lovely weekend.
Brrr what a freezing cold day! A hot chocolate sounds like an excellent idea especially with it strategically positioned half way round. Really beautiful photos. Have a good weekend. π
ReplyDeleteThank you CK, yes it's good to have the little cafe halfway round. I only fancy hot chocolate when it is really cold so it was a lovely treat:)
DeleteI do love frosty days, a rarity here. Everything looks so beautiful in your photos and I can imagine a hot chocolate was very welcome. Have a cosy weekend. B x
ReplyDeleteThank you B, there is something special about cold and frosty mornings everything is so beautiful. It was lovely to warm my hands on the mug:)
DeleteA warm drink was a good idea when you took that walk. The photos of the frosty scenes are beautiful. I wish you both a pleasant weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, the hot drink was most welcome with it being so cold. I hope Mr.P is feeling much better. Stay warm this weekend:)
DeleteIt is good to be wrapped up warm and enjoy a walk in the frost. Lovely pictures at Trentham x
ReplyDeleteThank you Beverley. The walk certainly blew cobwebs away and was quite invigorating:)
DeleteLovely photos at Trentham in the frost - really like the leaf photo. It has gone so cold but good to walk when wrapped up warm. Enjoy what is left of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you RR, it was a lovely walk. The frosted leaves were so beautiful, I took loads of photos of them. Now we have snow and Waxwings have been spotted at our local park, we may venture down there to see if we can spot them. Have a lovely Sunday:)
DeleteI loved all those frosty photos and although I commented on my old laptop, it didn't go through (again), so here I am on the PC, catching up on blog commenting. I do read all on my sidebar, but alas can't always leave a comment. Take care, stay warm & hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan. I too struggle with leaving comments so I'm glad you were able to leave one here. Sometimes I click on the blue box asking me to sign into google - click- but it just brings me back to that box. Other times I can click on comment and it gives me three options, sign into google - does the same as I mentioned above. So the others anonymous or name/URL I can use sometimes. I'm not sure what it is all about but I hope they sort it soon. We had snow yesterday but most of it was washed away by rain overnight. Take care:)
DeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteThe frost is so lovely, even if cold! Seems like England gets some very heavy frosts that can be quite beauriful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Granny Sue, the hard frosts can be quite beautiful. We had snow a couple of days later:)
DeleteWonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you, William:)
