Into December

A few photos from this morning's walk at Trentham Gardens.  Cold in the air and crunchy underfoot. Visible breath from both walkers and dogs.  Definitely a warm hat, scarf and gloves day.  Also a hot chocolate day at the cafe halfway around the lake.  Fingers warmed around the cup before we moved on.

Stay warm and have a lovely weekend.

  1. Brrr what a freezing cold day! A hot chocolate sounds like an excellent idea especially with it strategically positioned half way round. Really beautiful photos. Have a good weekend. 😊

    1. Thank you CK, yes it's good to have the little cafe halfway round. I only fancy hot chocolate when it is really cold so it was a lovely treat:)

  5. Lovely photos at Trentham in the frost - really like the leaf photo. It has gone so cold but good to walk when wrapped up warm. Enjoy what is left of the weekend.

    1. Thank you RR, it was a lovely walk. The frosted leaves were so beautiful, I took loads of photos of them. Now we have snow and Waxwings have been spotted at our local park, we may venture down there to see if we can spot them. Have a lovely Sunday:)

  6. I loved all those frosty photos and although I commented on my old laptop, it didn't go through (again), so here I am on the PC, catching up on blog commenting. I do read all on my sidebar, but alas can't always leave a comment. Take care, stay warm & hugs.

    1. Thank you Susan. I too struggle with leaving comments so I'm glad you were able to leave one here. Sometimes I click on the blue box asking me to sign into google - click- but it just brings me back to that box. Other times I can click on comment and it gives me three options, sign into google - does the same as I mentioned above. So the others anonymous or name/URL I can use sometimes. I'm not sure what it is all about but I hope they sort it soon. We had snow yesterday but most of it was washed away by rain overnight. Take care:)

  7. The frost is so lovely, even if cold! Seems like England gets some very heavy frosts that can be quite beauriful.
