Flower Wednesday

In the gardens of the Trentham Estate, sited in between the meandering 'Rivers of Grass' flower beds and the formal Italian Garden you can find the metal Arbour or walkway.


At the moment it is full of roses and as you walk through the scent of them is wonderful.


I'm afraid I don't know the names of the rose varieties but they were all lovely in the mornng sunlight.

    They are all lovely but the bottom one is my favourite. An arbour is such a great way to enjoy roses and their delicious smell. B x

      I always forget to dead head the ones in our garden but each year they come back regardless:)

    Beautiful roses - the one in the last superb photo is just stunning. Good to see them still in flower - had more or less decided not to visit some National Trust rose gardens round here as I thought they might be well and truly finished!
