It was a bit of a damp and muddy walk on Tuesday morning but it was good to be out in the fresh air.
There were lots of signs of Spring.
Primroses and Lesser Celandines along the side of the lake and down by the river.
Daffodils
and still some Snowdrops.
So beautiful, a breath of fresh air and absolutely amazing to see the kingfishers - not one but two and not on a poster at all! 😊
ReplyDeleteWe were thrilled to see one but then the female popped out of the nest and settled beside the male. Such a joy as the sun highlighted their colours:)
DeleteIt looks a lovely walk and great news on seeing the Kingfishers and getting a photo :) Always good to spot one but two is a real bonus :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a super place for a walk and some bird spotting, lovely cafe too for a warm drink on a cold day. Such a thrill to see the Kingfishers:)
