A Lakeside Stroll

A few recently taken snapshots of some usual and unusual waterfowl spotted on  the JCB Lake at Rocester.

Mallards take a family stroll

 

 We walked around the lake and then sat and ate sandwiches for lunch before heading home.  We had to sit in the car overlooking the lake as it was very windy.

 

The River Dove flows by the lake.
 

We called at the lake after visiting Cheadle and the Denstone Farm shop.  I'll write more of those in a later post.  I also have to tell you about Sunday's carnival in our little town.
