A few more and a Lazy Fox

Mr Fox has been visiting the garden in the early mornings and evenings.  A few days ago I spotted him relaxing on the top lawn.  I'm glad he feels safe here.

In my last post I promised a few more photos of The Ragged Victorians at the Gladstone Pottery Museum.

I can't remember what character the man above was meant to be.  I love his hat.

The Rat Catcher.  I expect that today he would be called a Rodent Control Operative.

Fallen on hard times

The two girls were really involved in their conversation.

and the girls in black and white

All for now.

  1. These are fascinating. I wonder what the young girls think about their roles? Do they understand the concept, or do they just enjoy dressing up? I would have loved it as a child.

  2. Wonderful to see the fox looking so relaxed.
Thanks so much for the extra photos from The Ragged Victorians event at Gladstone Pottery museum and I love the sepia and black and white effect. I used to edit mine sometimes to be in those tones - it is very effective. Take care in the heat Rosie - it seems unbearable already!

  3. What amazing costumes, they have done a really good job creating them. I love the straw hat. All that fur on the fox, a bit hot today for him. 😊
