Lichfield Christmas Tree Festival

On 1st December we went to Lichfield to visit the Cathedral where they were holding their Christmas Tree Festival.  I took quite a few photographs.  It was a cold Thursday morning and there weren't many people inside so we were able to take time to look at all the different trees.  They had been decorated by local schools, charities and businesses all very different but all equally pleasing.

 Beautiful Advent Candles

The Cathedral is so beautiful inside. Sorry just a few words today as I'm not feeling too well at the moment.   I hope you enjoy the photos.

All for now. Take care.

  1. Oh gosh Rosie! it looks so beautiful there. Thanks so much for sharing the photos as I doubt I will have time now to visit. It does look nice and quiet there certainly much quieter than when we went. I've been trying to look for more local Cmas Tree Festivals but drawing a blank at the moment. It is something I do enjoy attending at Christmas or I did pre Covid!

Sorry to hear you don't feel well. I hope you feel a lot better soon. Take care.

  6. The Christmas Tree Festival in Lichfield Cathedral must have been a delightful experience. It's a wonderful setting for such an event. We usually go to the one in Castleton in Derbyshire and have missed the tradition of going there in recent years. I hope you are feeling a little better. Thank you for sharing. May you have a lovely weekend.

    1. It has become a tradition to go to the tree festival at Lichfield so it was good to go back this year. I love Castleton at Christmas with all the lights but haven't been for ages. Thank you for your kind words, new medication has helped and I'm feeling a bit more myself now:)
