As it is such a grey, drizzly and breezy day, well it is here in Staffordshire, I thought I would introduce some sunshine in the form of a few sunflowers.

I'm happy for these sunflowers Rosie for I don't have them this year. They bring sunshine even to the cloudiest day! Thank you for joining in FW - have a better weather tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteStill raining here today but the sunflowers bring some sunshine:)
DeleteSunflowers always make me smile!
ReplyDeleteThey are very cheerful flowers aren't they?:)
DeleteI have to get out tomorrow to buy a bouquet of sunflowers before the season is over. They are just so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any this year either, I usually have one bunch each year for the house:)
DeleteLovely rich autumn colours, I like sunflowers a lot.
ReplyDeleteYes, the colours are autumnal aren't they, perhaps they are heralding the change of seasons:)
DeleteGorgeous. I haven't seen many over here this year, I will have to go and hunt for some!
ReplyDeleteThey were so tall too, must have been over 6ft some of them:)
DeleteBeautiful sunflowers - I love all the different colours you see them in :) Haven't grown any myself this year but there are plenty around to see at various gardens :)
ReplyDeleteI've never grown them but they are wonderful and the ones we saw were well over 6ft tall, although there were some smaller ones too:)
DeleteI bought a bunch of them as cut flowers earlier this week. They really do brighten the place up, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI keep looking at them in the supermarket, I must get some before the season ends:)
