Back Home

We are back home from our short break.  Below are a few photos of some of the places we visited.

I'll write more on each place later.  Now I'm off to catch up with what you have all been doing in the last few days.

  1. Ooh I’m intrigued. I’m guessing Suffolk but I may be wrong! B x

  2. I recognize the places because until 2 1/2 years ago we lived Leiston, in Suffolk.. very lovely, but it wasn't for us, It took us 3 years of being there to realize that we were 'townies' We moved here to my home town of Porthcawl in S Wales and love it.

    1. I'm glad you are happy now you are home in Porthcawl. I remember travelling there once from Cardiff, through a place called Cowbridge. There was a storm and we watched the lifeboat being launched in pouring rain. I can't remember why we were there - it was so long ago:)

  5. So glad you got away for a few days. Lovely photos - looks like the South East somewhere - Sutton Hoo and Grime's Graves? Would so love to visit that area and look forward to seeing more of your photos.

    1. I'd wanted to visit Sutton Hoo for years and finally got there. The Long Shed at Woodbridge and the Scallop at Aldeburgh were a bonus. I'd been to Woodbridge many years ago but had forgotten how interesting it was. More photos soon:)
