Wildflowers

The wildflowers in the gardens at Trentham when we went for a walk around the lake on Friday morning.  They were looking wonderful in the sunshine and attracting many photographers as well as those just taking in the beauty of it all.

I thought I'd share them with you.  Hope you enjoyed seeing them.

  1. I did enjoy seeing them Rosie. Such an array of colours too. I wish I had the courage to let my back garden be given over to wildflowers but I still need somewhere to sit and hang out the washing to dry! x

  8. Gorgeous flowers. One of the local councils has started sowing wildflowers on spare land and on roundabouts and it's such a joy to see them - they really brighten my day. x

  12. How lovely. When we came back from holiday all the roadside verges on the outskirts of Hunstanton were planted up with wild flowers - they are very eye catching.

  16. Beautiful photos - it looks fantastic, I wonder if I'm too late to visit this year and see it for myself. I wouldn't have chance until next Friday, by which time the flowers will probably be well past their best!
