  1. It is fun to see California Poppies in the U.K.! They bloom in Oregon too even though they are the California state flower :). My Clematis is not blooming yet. I love seeing your pretty blooms. Happy Weekend and thanks for typing back and forth with me! xx

  6. What a beautiful selection of flowers - so much colour! I love French Marigolds and we have one of those blue Hardy Geraniums - the bees love it :) Love the Borage - it is a plant that I find difficult to grow here for some reason. Have lost so many over the years :( Have a lovely weekend.

    1. The bees do seem to love the blue geranium and the blue borage too. Strangely I noticed a pink flower on the borage amongst all the blue ones. It remeinded me of one of our hydrangea plants which has both pink and blue flowers each year:)

  10. Beautiful. I've also been noticing more seasonal plants coming into bloom in the garden in the last few days. I bought a packet of California poppy seeds, but forgot to sow them! I've a few of those other orange ones that self-seed and one bud on a white oriental poppy plant has just opened. I hope that you're having a good weekend.

  11. Hello Rosie, you have shared some beautiful blooms, including a couple of my favourites. Borage is a magnet for bees and I always had it in my garden. Hardy geraniums are another that they enjoy, as evidenced by your sweet photo. Have a lovely weekend. Marie x
