Farewell to a Friend

We had to say goodbye today.  The house feels so quiet and empty.

Max aged 22 years.
April 1996 - 30th March 2019

I'm going to take a break from blogging as the last few days have been quite stressful. Please forgive me if I don't visit you all for a while.
I'll be back soon.

  7. Ah, just short of 23 years. A very sad time, but he had a long, and no doubt, very happy life. He must have left quite a hole after being in the family for so long :(

  9. Oh Rosie, I don't know what to say or how to say it, other than sorry. Our thoughts are with you both & pets definitely leave a big hole in our lives when they are gone. See you when you decide the time is right to blog again. Take care & huggles.

  11. I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how you feel. I lost my Phoebe 6 weeks ago. She had lymphoma & went downhill very quickly. I still listen out for her bell (on her collar) when I get home. Take care of yourself.

  20. I'm sorry for the loss of Max. I know how it hurts because I loss my Diego a month ago and I feel so devastated. During his pet cremation houston tx I thought I can accept his loss but the first night without him in our room, I started to feel his loss and suddenly I remembered all the memories together. Facing and accepting their loss is not easy. It's a long process.
