Cat Thoughts

Ooh at last - a little bit of sun!  I'll think I'll just lay here where it's warm.

If they want to get out of the back door they will just have to step over me.

It's very relaxing just laying here, when you get to 17 you need to take it easy and chasing that squirrel this morning just tired me out.  You have to keep those little creatures in their place though, let them know who is boss of the garden.

I think I'll risk being trodden on and stay here a while longer, then I'll have a roll around on this mat where they wipe their feet after they have been in the garden.  Then, for a bit of fun, I'll run upstairs and clean myself down on their bed!  They'll like having bits of garden and dust there I'm sure and be so pleased that I'm clean and tidy again.  Then after that well..... it may be time for another snooze.

  3. Our cat has discovered that the receiver for our satellite tv is nice and warm to lay on. Her laying on it doesn't seem to interfere with reception so we let he lay.

  8. Isn't that just typical cat behaviour? If you want comfort - follow a cat every time. They'll lead you straight to it.

  11. My cat is 17 and he has slowed down so much. He has a little arthritis and I can see it hurts him when he walks. He spends a lot more time sleeping now. He tends to jump up onto my bed finding it the most comfortable spot in the house for his naps.

  12. Ah yes...nothing is better than the life of our cats! Our cat is going to 15 if he makes it to December. Dagi is extremely old for the breed of cat and most people are amazed he is still alive. He is a sweetheart and happy to spend all day with us. What is your cat's name?
