Here are my photos for the April Scavenger Hunt.  In no particular order ...

Breakfast

Your camera

An interesting shop name

A Cross

A Sculpture

Something to do with Shakespeare
I struggled to get the last few as I couldn't get out of the house for a few days - so for 'Something to do with Shakespeare' - books from our book shelves about the man himself, his theatres and Shakespeare country!

Something to do with St George's Day

The only thing I could think of was the quote from Henry V - no not the one on my fridge magnet!  You know the one that starts - 'Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more' and ends with - 'The game's afoot: and upon this charge, cry God for Harry, England and St George!'

Thanks once again to Kathy at Postcards from the PP for hosting the Scavenger Hunt - here is a - link - to Kathy's blog where you will find a link to other blogs taking part.

  1. Kathy has a linky on her blog which seems to be working ok, so you could direct readers there.

You did well to capture your April shower!! It's been eluding me for days and I eventually had to get creative with that one!

Hope you are continuing to feel better??

  3. Nice work...this was a tricky little list for me, so I'm enjoying viewing what others came up with. Cute name for a florist!

  4. Glad you got them all - I wondered how you would go on being out of action for a while!

I still have a few to take - I'm terrible this month! I'm sure I can post it tomorrow though - just in time!

Looking forward to seeing the new list now.

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
The April shower one was hard for me, I've never known such a dry April.

  7. Great photos. I especially enjoyed the church which looks a bit like a castle to me as well as a church. I must say flapjacks and coffee is a much more interesting breakfast than my bowl of muesli. :)
I hope you are continuing to recover.

  9. I failed miserably this month, so won't be doing a Scavenger Hunt post. You did very well to get them all. The sculpture reminds me of Henry Moore? Not sure I could have snapped showers this month? Wouldn't mind a mooch around Jack in the Green, which is a great name! x
