Apologies for my Absence

Sorry I haven't been around for a while either blogging or commenting on all your recent posts which I have been reading when I've been able to.  I had a fall in the garden last Sunday and exacerbated an old injury to my ribs and sternum.  It has been very painful and I've done lots of lying around feeling sorry for myself.

I can't lift or carry anything or sit upright for very long.  I have been able to sit in the garden on a sun lounger over the last few days so I have been enjoying all the lovely weather we've been experiencing whilst reading and watching the birds visiting the bird feeders.  I hope I'll be back soon and that everyone is having a restful Easter weekend.

  7. Oh I am so so sorry to hear that your hurt.....this falls in to the category we call...life can change in a second..I've been there..do you have 0 gravity lounge chairs in England ? You can get up and down just using your legs ..they recline and take all the pressure off your truck area...they were a God send to us..when I hurt my back and my husband fell 30 ft.out of a tree...this chair was the only way he could be comfortable...he slept in it for 4 weeks!! We just bought the outdoor version that was very little money... I so hope you are better soon! I love your birds ...I don't know the English birds is it a finch? Be well and a Happy Easter to you.....hugs from the east coast ..

  24. Hi Rosie!
I've just read about your mishap and do hope you are on the road to recovery.
I fell over in the garden in 2002, just after we moved here and I broke my ankle...it all happened in a flash!
Anyway, drink lots of tea... and chill!!

    ;-)x

  26. Oh Rosie, I hope you are feeling better by now. There is always so much to do in the garden at this time of year. Maybe you could just be in charge of any titivating that needs to be done, for the time being? x
