World Book Day - Quiz answers

Here, as promised, are the answers to the World Book Day fun quiz:-

  1. I really need to get more cultural. I think I have only read one book in that list! There are some great book suggestions in there for me - once I have got through Steinbeck. The current book is proving a bit of a challenge for me!

  2. Brilliant Rosie, you have made me want to re read some of thise books - especially the Great Gatsby which I read when I was a teenager and cannot really remember much about (although I still have the book.) I love a good quiz - can you do one with character next? xxxx

  3. This was good fun Rosie although we only managed a lamentable five out of ten, despite having read most on the list.

    Cider with Rosie caused the most dispute, neither of us got that right!

  5. This was a great idea Rosie and lots of fun. I'm surprised I didn't get the Virginia Woolf one as I've read To The Lighthouse a couple of times - oh dear!!

  7. i whizzed past the answers so that i could go first to the questions and see if i could get any right. i only got 2 even though i've read 4 of the books (mind you i've just had a flare up of lupus, which has impaired my emory). i feel inspired to read them again and read the others too :o)
