It's April.....

....so I'm looking forward to: -

Bluebells in the Woods

Lambs in the Fields

Getting out into the garden not just to work, but to sit quietly and enjoy it, too.

Easter Treats

Othello at The New Vic

Re-reading The Enchanted April

Welcoming the swallows and house martins and watching all of wildlife relish the joys of spring.

  1. Lots of lovely things to look forward to - Enchanted April is one of my favourite films but I've never read the book.

  2. Make hay whilst the sun shines, lets hope we don't get a wet summer like last year. You will love the book, also "In her German garden" by the same author.

  6. All those things, and a few April showers too. I dont mind them in April, its when they continue into MAy, June, July, August that I object. I'm also looking forward to sitting in my garden until late at night, waiting for the nightly visit from ther hedgehog. I feel as if I come out of hibernation too at this time of year. xx
