to guide us on our wintry way.
Your petals white and oh, so pure
bring hope and light to reassure
that just as night turns into day,
then spring will follow, come what may.

ReplyDeleteI am waiting for the Snowdrops...to many snow did drop in the last few weeks...enough I say..
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week Rosie..
The wordverification is waiting for spring too it spells "dalicint',this must be something between a hyacint, and a daffodil..:)
Is that your poem? It is absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteDon't we all need a bit of Spring right now?
Its always lovely to see the snowdrops return - they are not this big in your garden already are they? The poem you wrote is lovely. I thought about you as I was trudging over the hills on Sunday - it was the first forray into Derbyshire in ages! The better weather cannot come soon enough. xxx
ReplyDeleteSymbols of hope.
ReplyDeleteLovely words.
Simply beautiful..perfection! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOn a cold and rainy January day the sight of snowdrops remind me that Spring isn;t too far away. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely poem. My snowdrops are struggling through the snow and frost but hopefully they will be out soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, will spring really come?! What a beautiful poem and a beautiful thought!
ReplyDeleteYour poem is meaningful to me because my back yard has never been such a mess, after trees got pruned and then the pruner got sick, leaving bits of branches all around. It's too wet to do anything right now, and there is nothing lovely out there--except some snowdrops!
ReplyDeleteOh such Lovely words! and a beautiful delicate image too.
ReplyDeleteI do hope to see them appearing soon..
