The bees and butterflies love them and I have found elephant hawk moth caterpillars on the rosebay willow herb, which is precisely why I keep it! Last year they were beautiful and I had so many. They are biennials aren't they so perhaps I'll do better next year? It's hard to believe they are so toxic - you have to be careful if you are taking close up shots - especially if there are bees about too! Are foxglves native to your area? As Mrs T says above some people see them as weeds rather like buddleia or rosebay willow herb.
