I was thrilled with the family history photo and since my post I have been contacted by someone whose father was my father’s best friend when they were children/teenagers and he has sent me some photos of my father when he was young – so lovely to have them as my father died when I was five and I have never had many photos from his side of the family.

Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-12386879742362871052015-04-07T08:54:44.870+01:002015-04-07T08:54:44.870+01:00Hi Rosie, I'm back home in Victoria now and ca...Hi Rosie, I'm back home in Victoria now and can finally view the Scavenger Hunt photos properly. I love all your photos, the dinosaur is hilarious, just love it. I suppose because of my interest in genealogy, the photo with your granny and other relatives is the most interesting to me. It really is so very exciting when we make connections.
Anne xx**Anne**https://www.blogger.com/profile/05595796965034742923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-86407321876885890412015-04-06T08:48:45.739+01:002015-04-06T08:48:45.739+01:00Hello and welcome - glad you are enjoying the Scav...Hello and welcome - glad you are enjoying the Scavenger Hunt - the dinosaur is quite funny isn't it?:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-25579435442937763002015-04-06T08:47:35.854+01:002015-04-06T08:47:35.854+01:00Hi - thanks for visiting and glad you enjoyed my s...Hi - thanks for visiting and glad you enjoyed my selection of photos. I've been going through all the scavenger hunt posts this morning, now that things have settled down for me, and everyone has such awesome collections for March! I enjoyed every one of your photos. I thought "We" was awesome because of all that it represented. Richard III has always been fascinating to me since I first read Shakespeare's play about him in Grade 11. I always felt that he had been misunderstood and misrepresented by history, so his discovery, identification, and burial have been something to follow! I just finished the novel "A Rose for the Crown" by Anne Easter Smith in which R3 was a main character ~ found it in a book exchange in our little hotel in Honolulu. It was a great read. I loved Skyline ~ so calm and peaceful ~ very different from the high plains of Colorado. But best of all is your family's photo, so lovely and mysterious; but less mysterious for you now.
