I found your photo of the effigies of John...Rosie,

I found your photo of the effigies of John and Ann Bradbourne through a google search and liked it very much. John was one of my 13-great grandfathers. (One of John and Ann's great grandchildren married into the Waring family of Staffordshire and one of their descendants came to New England about 1650.) I am currently working on his profile and ancestry on wikitree (a public, free, collaborative, genealogy site) and would like to be able to post a copy of the photo on his wikitree page. (See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bradburne-3 ) The photo would show up in the place where there is currently just a little blue silhouette. OK if you I use the picture?

Best,

Chase Ashley
Connecticut, USAChase Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17656932384242932346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-41909868997220256162013-04-19T11:05:46.877+01:002013-04-19T11:05:46.877+01:00Yes, I want to explore the churchyard more when we...Yes, I want to explore the churchyard more when we next visit - there were some interesting memorial stones and lots of lovely spring flowers and little birds:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-5510796221480135672013-04-19T11:04:39.276+01:002013-04-19T11:04:39.276+01:00It is one of those churches that feels steeped in ...It is one of those churches that feels steeped in history even before you learn of all the well known people who worshiped and visited there:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-17358180593051907102013-04-19T11:03:42.702+01:002013-04-19T11:03:42.702+01:00It is lovely inside although the work in there at ...It is lovely inside although the work in there at the moment stops you going to some of the areas in the church:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-83839800831774880432013-04-19T11:03:03.115+01:002013-04-19T11:03:03.115+01:00Glad you enjoyed the visit, I often forget to use ...Glad you enjoyed the visit, I often forget to use the little camera but it is handy just to pop in a bag:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-76740763801243049542013-04-19T11:02:19.621+01:002013-04-19T11:02:19.621+01:00Yes, that certainly did hit home how deeply they w...Yes, that certainly did hit home how deeply they were affected by her death:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-34830667025576791822013-04-19T11:01:33.469+01:002013-04-19T11:01:33.469+01:00It is very sad - she was obviously a little girl s...It is very sad - she was obviously a little girl surrounded by love and hope:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-49521447900971749802013-04-19T11:00:41.601+01:002013-04-19T11:00:41.601+01:00The Larkin poem exactly describes the effigies in ...The Larkin poem exactly describes the effigies in the chapel:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-70460302841457532562013-04-19T10:58:58.349+01:002013-04-19T10:58:58.349+01:00I always think that churches tell us so much about...I always think that churches tell us so much about the local and social history of an area and they were of course, far more than just places of worship at one time - more the hub of the community than they are now:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-10150683524504033212013-04-19T10:57:39.467+01:002013-04-19T10:57:39.467+01:00Yes, one couldn't really feel so sad about the...Yes, one couldn't really feel so sad about the lives of the earlier people depicted in the effigies but little Penelope certainly did stay in your thoughts:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-35961821347493324852013-04-19T10:56:14.963+01:002013-04-19T10:56:14.963+01:00Good idea - it looks aas if the interior work is g...Good idea - it looks aas if the interior work is going to take a while but there is still quite a lot to see:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11621908.post-28891783058860342392013-04-19T10:55:32.070+01:002013-04-19T10:55:32.070+01:00There is a lot of history there!
